Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education campaigns targeting diverse populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and outbreak investigations
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Collaborate with community partners to address health disparities
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Provide technical guidance to healthcare providers and community organizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with emergency preparedness protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
