Responsibilities
- Design and implement community health education campaigns targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform intervention strategies
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations to deliver preventive services
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets to secure funding initiatives
- Conduct health needs assessments and program evaluations using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Advocate for health equity through policy recommendations and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Illinois Public Health Certification
- Strong project management and grant-writing skills
- Experience working with diverse communities and vulnerable populations
- Knowledge of Chicago's public health landscape and local regulations
