Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health programs targeting disease prevention and health promotion
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Build partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
- Conduct health assessments and program evaluations using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Develop educational materials for diverse populations and deliver community presentations
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with bilingual abilities preferred
- Experience with grant writing and federal reporting requirements
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and Nevada public health statutes
