Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and disease outbreak investigations
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive health data reports and policy recommendations
- Manage grant-funded public health initiatives and budgets
- Provide crisis intervention during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Texas Department of State Health Services certification preferred
- Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, or Epi Info for data analysis
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Valid Texas driver's license
