Responsibilities
- Design and execute population health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging public health threats
- Collaborate with community organizations on health equity initiatives
- Prepare grant applications and manage program budgets
- Develop educational materials for diverse audiences
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and standards
- Lead interdepartmental health emergency response planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of public health program experience
- Valid New Mexico Public Health Practitioner license
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS/R)
- Grant writing and budget management experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting laws
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
