Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health disparities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations to design culturally responsive outreach initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with healthcare providers, local businesses, and government agencies
- Prepare comprehensive public health reports and policy recommendations for department leadership
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises and infectious disease outbreaks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field with 3+ years of experience
- Proven expertise in health data analysis using statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience designing and evaluating community-based health intervention programs
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and public health accreditation standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Valid Colorado driver's license with reliable transportation for site visits
