Responsibilities
- Design and implement community health outreach programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and threats
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency preparedness drills and response protocols
- Conduct health education workshops on chronic disease prevention
- Manage grant applications and compliance for federal health initiatives
- Develop culturally competent health communication materials
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on immunization campaigns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential preferred
- Proficient in SPSS or similar statistical analysis software
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and reporting
- Strong interpersonal skills for community stakeholder engagement
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
