Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community health priorities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform intervention strategies
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives to promote health education and disease prevention
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits to enhance public health services
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for health department leadership
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation or community health
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in health information systems
- Excellent communication abilities for diverse stakeholder engagement
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends for events
- Knowledge of CDC guidelines and Arizona Department of Health Services protocols
