Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community wellness
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and surveillance for reportable diseases
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses and public health crisis management
- Collaborate with community partners to address health disparities
- Analyze health data and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders
- Oversee grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance
- Provide public health education and outreach to diverse populations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong communication skills with experience in community engagement
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
