Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to address social determinants of health
- Conduct community outreach and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations
- Lead public health emergency response planning and execution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Strong knowledge of CA public health regulations and frameworks
- Experience with community-based participatory research methods
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
- Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred
