Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health outreach programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and data analysis for disease prevention
- Coordinate emergency health response protocols during public health crises
- Collaborate with community organizations to address social determinants of health
- Prepare and submit comprehensive public health reports to state authorities
- Provide health education workshops and lead vaccination campaigns
- Manage grants and ensure compliance with public health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of public health or healthcare administration experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficient in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Experience with emergency preparedness planning and crisis management
- Strong communication skills with diverse community stakeholders
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for community events
