Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and risks
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations for outreach initiatives
- Develop policy recommendations to address health disparities and environmental factors
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct health assessments and prepare comprehensive impact reports
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field with 3+ years experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal reporting (e.g., CDC, HRSA)
- Knowledge of HIPAA, ADA, and Title VI compliance requirements
- Ability to speak Spanish fluently (preferred) and work with diverse communities
- Valid New Mexico driver's license and clean driving record
