Responsibilities
- Design and execute evidence-based health education campaigns targeting vulnerable communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging public health threats
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and community organizations for resource alignment
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets effectively
- Conduct community needs assessments and program evaluations
- Advocate for policy changes that support public health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS)
- Valid Indiana Public Health Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong understanding of health equity principles and social determinants of health
