Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and report findings to leadership
- Coordinate emergency response efforts during public health crises
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend policy interventions
- Collaborate with community partners on outreach and education campaigns
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Represent the department in interagency committees and public forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Nevada driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance within 90 days
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation required
- Strong written/verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
