Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health assessment plans for Sedgwick County
- Coordinate disease surveillance and outbreak response protocols
- Manage health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and risks
- Leverage GIS mapping for health resource allocation planning
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on vaccination initiatives
- Prepare grant proposals and manage public health program budgets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government/public health administration
- Valid Kansas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, or EpiInfo for statistical analysis
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with community coalition building
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting regulations
