Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health education campaigns targeting diverse communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct community needs assessments and program evaluations
- Liaise with healthcare providers to integrate public health services
- Prepare reports for city officials and public health agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Valid Texas Public Health Certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish required
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills
- Crisis response certification preferred
