Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives with healthcare providers and non-profit organizations
- Lead health education campaigns on topics like immunization, nutrition, and maternal health
- Prepare grant proposals and manage budgets for public health initiatives
- Collaborate with local government agencies to integrate health into urban planning
- Monitor program effectiveness using KPIs and adjust strategies based on outcomes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in government or non-profit public health roles
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing community health initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Florida public health regulations and resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Florida driver's license
