Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and surveillance for reportable diseases
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Train healthcare providers and community stakeholders on public health best practices
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend policy changes
- Manage grant-funded programs and ensure compliance with federal regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health program experience
- Valid Nevada Public Health Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
