Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to track disease surveillance data and report outbreaks
- Develop grant proposals and manage federal/state public health funding allocations
- Conduct community needs assessments and health impact analyses
- Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and public health crisis responses
- Train healthcare staff on updated protocols and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in government or non-profit public health roles
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (SPSS, R, Epi Info)
- Experience with grant writing and federal program compliance
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
