- Lead public health emergency response initiatives including natural disaster preparedness
- Prepare detailed reports for state legislators and federal health agencies
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually
- Train public health staff on regulatory compliance and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government/public health administration
- Valid Florida Public Health Practitioner certification
- Advanced proficiency in SAS/R for statistical analysis
- Demonstrated success with grant writing and federal compliance
- Emergency management certification (FEMA preferred)
- Fluency in Spanish required for community outreach
- Valid Florida driver's license
