Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Conduct epidemiological research and analyze health data to inform policy decisions
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives with local healthcare providers and non-profits
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead crisis response planning for public health emergencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for government stakeholders and the public
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Excellent communication abilities with diverse community groups
- Tennessee driver's license with clean record
