Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive public health programs targeting infectious disease prevention and health equity initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and inform intervention strategies
- Coordinate community outreach and education campaigns on critical health topics
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to enhance service accessibility
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on program outcomes and public health trends
- Participate in emergency response planning and public health crisis management
- Advise policymakers on evidence-based public health legislation and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation or healthcare administration
- Strong proficiency in epidemiological data analysis and statistical software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for community engagement
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and public health budget management
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and ability to travel throughout the city
- Knowledge of local health disparities and cultural competency in healthcare
