Responsibilities
- Design and coordinate community health intervention programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and resource allocation needs
- Facilitate partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and nonprofit organizations
- Develop health education materials and conduct outreach campaigns for vulnerable populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Respond to public health emergencies and coordinate crisis mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Demonstrated experience with community engagement methodologies
- Knowledge of Michigan public health regulations and CDC guidelines
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
