Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health initiatives targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends in vulnerable populations
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for emergency preparedness response
- Develop culturally responsive health education materials for diverse communities
- Monitor program compliance with federal/state public health regulations
- Prepare grant proposals and manage public health program budgets
- Conduct community needs assessments and impact evaluations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years experience in municipal public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis
- Demonstrated success in securing federal/state health grants
- Experience working with Philadelphia's diverse immigrant populations
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality protocols
