Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health intervention strategies targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for public health emergency response planning
- Lead grant-funded projects focused on chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct community needs assessments and program evaluations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and federal health agencies
- Train healthcare providers on public health protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or non-profit public health roles
- Valid Arizona Public Health Certification (CPH) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS, R, or SAS for statistical analysis
- Demonstrated success in securing public health grants
- Experience with community-based participatory research methods
- Knowledge of Arizona public health statutes and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
