Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend policy interventions
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Lead emergency preparedness planning for public health crises
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct community health assessments and disseminate findings to stakeholders
- Provide public health education and outreach to diverse populations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding compliance
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
