Responsibilities
- Design and oversee community health intervention programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and threats
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with hospitals, schools, and non-profits
- Develop educational materials and conduct public health outreach campaigns
- Manage grant funding and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Lead crisis response coordination for public health emergencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and health department leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Ohio Public Health Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong grant writing and budget management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred
