Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Collect, analyze, and report epidemiological data to identify health trends
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Develop partnerships with community organizations to expand outreach programs
- Conduct health inspections and compliance monitoring for public facilities
- Prepare grant proposals and manage public health program budgets
- Train healthcare staff on updated public health protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and public health regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
