Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze public health data trends
- Collaborate with community partners to address health disparities
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead crisis response for public health emergencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for departmental leadership and policymakers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential
- Strong data analysis and statistical modeling skills
- Experience with grant writing and fund management
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and health data visualization tools
