Responsibilities
- Design and implement community health assessment programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and threats
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Develop educational campaigns on preventive health measures
- Manage grants and budgets for public health initiatives
- Liaise with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and state health departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong knowledge of CDC protocols and Louisiana health regulations
- Excellent cross-cultural communication abilities
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
