Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health campaigns targeting vulnerable populations in Oakland
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate with community organizations to deliver health education and resources
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes for county stakeholders and grant applications
- Advise on policy recommendations to improve access to healthcare services
- Lead crisis response efforts for public health emergencies
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong knowledge of CA public health codes and regulations
- Experience with grant writing and fund management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish or English/Chinese
