Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health assessment programs for Fort Worth metropolitan area
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Coordinate public health emergency response initiatives across Tarrant County
- Design and deliver health education workshops for diverse populations
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers to improve vaccination coverage rates
- Manage grant-funded public health projects and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports on health outcomes and program effectiveness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Texas Department of State Health Services certification in Health Education
- Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, or R for statistical analysis
- Experience with community coalition building and stakeholder engagement
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
