Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives including vaccination drives and health screenings
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Train healthcare professionals and community partners on public best practices
- Prepare detailed reports for government stakeholders and the public
- Lead emergency response efforts during public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Experience with community engagement and stakeholder collaboration
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
