Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention strategies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on vaccination campaigns
- Manage grant-funded health equity programs
- Conduct community health needs assessments
- Prepare reports for local and state health authorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of public health program management experience
- Kansas Public Health certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS/R)
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Experience with emergency preparedness protocols
- Valid Kansas driver's license
