Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for emergency preparedness and response initiatives
- Lead community outreach initiatives to improve health literacy and access to services
- Prepare comprehensive reports and grant proposals for federal funding opportunities
- Maintain compliance with CDC, HRSA, and state public health regulations
- Supervise junior staff and provide mentorship in public health best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Experience with federal grant writing and reporting requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- US citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
