Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and disease outbreak investigations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on vaccination and prevention initiatives
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend policy interventions
- Manage grant-funded health projects and ensure compliance with regulations
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health crises
- Lead community health assessments and stakeholder engagement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Oklahoma Public Health Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS or R
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
