Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health intervention programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend policy changes
- Coordinate with community partners to deliver health education workshops and screenings
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Develop educational materials in English and Spanish for diverse populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program effectiveness and community health metrics
- Participate in emergency response planning for public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years experience in community health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean record
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Knowledge of Healthy People 2030 objectives
