Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations in King County
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies to coordinate health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and grant proposals to secure funding for public health projects
- Lead community outreach campaigns to educate residents on preventive health measures
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and recommend policy improvements
- Maintain accurate health databases and ensure data confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field with 3+ years of experience
- Proven track record in community health program development and implementation
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and health information systems
- Strong understanding of health equity principles and culturally competent practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholder audiences
- Valid Washington State driver's license and ability to travel throughout King County
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
