Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives with local organizations and healthcare providers
- Develop educational materials and conduct workshops on health promotion topics
- Monitor program effectiveness through data collection and impact assessments
- Collaborate with county officials to align health initiatives with policy goals
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with diverse populations and community stakeholders
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
