Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health education programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and recommend interventions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations to implement outreach campaigns
- Manage grant-funded projects related to disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct health assessments and prepare comprehensive impact reports for stakeholders
- Develop culturally sensitive health materials in multiple languages
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Experience managing federal/state grant-funded projects
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
