Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and analyze health data to identify emerging trends
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives including vaccination campaigns and health screenings
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to address health disparities
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for public health policy recommendations
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in community coalition building
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
