Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance activities
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health crises
- Design and deliver community health education campaigns
- Analyze health data to inform policy recommendations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Manage grant-funded projects and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health experience in government or non-profit setting
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with grant writing and compliance
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
