Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting underserved communities
- Lead epidemiological surveillance and outbreak response protocols
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to develop health equity strategies
- Manage grant-funded health programs and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Analyze population health data to inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate community health education and vaccination campaigns
- Prepare public health emergency response plans and conduct drills
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Expertise in health data analysis (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Proven experience with grant writing and compliance management
- Strong knowledge of Maryland public health regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work in high-pressure emergency response environments
