Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and outbreak investigations using advanced data analytics
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses including mass vaccination campaigns and disaster recovery
- Develop community partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits
- Prepare detailed reports and policy recommendations for county leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Train staff and community members on public health best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Colorado Public Health Emergency Coordinator certification
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS, R, or SAS for statistical analysis
- Demonstrated experience with CDC guidelines and HIPAA compliance
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS) 300/400
