Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health campaigns targeting chronic disease prevention
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and data analysis to identify health trends
- Coordinate community health screenings and vaccination outreach programs
- Develop educational materials for diverse populations (English/Spanish)
- Partner with schools, healthcare providers, and nonprofits for health initiatives
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Report on health metrics and program effectiveness to leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with community health assessment methodologies
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
