Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate multi-agency initiatives with healthcare providers, community organizations, and local governments
- Lead community health assessments and translate findings into actionable interventions
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Provide technical assistance to local health departments and community partners
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and prepare reports for legislative stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related health field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Georgia driver's license with ability to travel statewide
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (HRSA/CDC)
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and community stakeholders
- Knowledge of Georgia's public health infrastructure and regulations
