Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and risks
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Conduct community outreach and educational workshops
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on policy initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects and reporting requirements
- Monitor compliance with state and federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health administration
- Valid Michigan Public Health Certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and CDC guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
