Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting underserved communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health data to identify emerging public health threats
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to coordinate health initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects and prepare compliance reports for state and federal agencies
- Lead crisis response activities during public health emergencies
- Train staff and volunteers on public health protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in community health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal reporting requirements
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
