Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate emergency preparedness response protocols for public health crises
- Develop educational materials and outreach campaigns for health promotion
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and government agencies on health initiatives
- Monitor program outcomes and prepare data-driven reports for leadership
- Advise on policy recommendations to advance population health goals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Bachelor's with 3+ years experience considered)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation or community health roles
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Experience developing health education materials for diverse populations
- Knowledge of Oregon public health regulations and emergency response frameworks
- Valid Oregon driver's license with reliable transportation
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
