Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Collect and analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Develop educational materials and outreach campaigns
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Participate in emergency response planning and public health surveillance
- Report health metrics to county leadership and state agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
